Many people today cannot afford an attorney and they resort to internet sites or filling out legal papers on their own.  But doing so can have significant negative consequences.  It may be advantageous to have an attorney explain the law surrounding a specific legal issue, fill out complicated forms, or make  a limited court appearance for you.

          At Toomey Law, we try to meet your legal and financial needs in a way that is convenient and flexible for you.  Perhaps you need certainty about how much a particular legal task will cost; we can provide services on a flat fee basis. Maybe  you can do some of the non-lawyer legwork yourself and pay for unbundled services only.  Our regular hourly rate is $225 per hour. We do not take retainers.            Perhaps you cannot afford to take off work.  We can meet you in the evening or on a weekend, even at your own home if that is more convenient for you.
